InshaAllah, if there is enough interest and 2-3 parents who would like to lead additional sections of Girl Scouts YOU can open another TROOP section at any time. Girl Scouts are VOLUNTEER LED, and that means parents need to cooperatively work together to form a group for his and her daughter to have a Troop. It is not possible for a single parent or a few parents to take on more girls every year. Parent leaders move on through each level with their "cohort" of girls, and there is not any type of rolling enrollment each year. In order to get your daughter into Girl Scouts, the best way is to be their leader or find some volunteers who wish to be a leader for a troop. Leaders spend a lot of time and thought planning meetings, camp, celebrations, and activities. Supplies, badges, and entrance fees use our Troop funds. Therefore any cancellations less than 48 hours (and not health related) will incur non-refundable fees to you ($5-$10, depending if there is a field trip entrance fee). Additionally, we want to maintain an active Troop of Girls who participate and grow with our program every year. Therefore if your child misses more than 2 meetings, they will need to give up their spot as a member of the Troop. *

I understand that cancelling last minute affects our Troop's funds, and I will need to pay any participation fees.

I understand that if my child misses 3 or more meetings, then she will have to leave the Troop.
