What do you imagine for your future?

America is at a crossroads. While many are attempting to define the options we might take, the mainstream choices offered are not appealing. Futurists and academics are imagining futures to meet specific physical and economic goals like climate change and job losses due to AI. Everyday people are rarely consulted about what they want for themselves. This project aims to identify what people want for themselves to inform planners of social systems.

The American Future Project is one way you can imagine a better future for yourself. And together, we'll write the next chapter for the United States of America.

AmericanFuture.us is fiscally sponsored by Mediators Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Debilyn Molineaux is the project director.
