Based on consultation with previous captains of all divisions the club has represented in pennants, here is the process for pennants selection in 2022.
The club is looking for a squad of 30-40 players to participate in a maximum of Divisions: 1, 4, 5 and 6 that we hope Golf WA will give us. Division 5 and 6 must be Full or Junior Members, however, Division 1 and 4 players can have Country, Junior or Full Member status.
The Selection Committee, comprised of previous captains and a manager, will select the top 28 available players from the squad based on the following:
*Handicap and average scores (from MiTournament) in the lead up to pennants
*Demonstrated ability to have played to or around your handicap on courses other than BGC (especially Perth metro courses)
*Represented BGC in pennants previously
*Participation in BGC gold letter events
*Elite juniors

If you choose to participate, even as a fill-in, you will need to:
*Purchase a pennants shirt and hat (if you play in Div 1 you will need to purchase a full uniform)
*Contribute money to the captain of the team you play for that week which goes towards catering when we host
*Support in hosting roles if you are playing that day

Please complete the survey below by the 10th December if you are interested in playing, even if you aren't available for finals. We need to have shirt sizes for ordering by the afternoon of Friday 10th December.

Another survey for additional information will come out next year once we have dates for the 2022 Pennant season.
