This will be a juried market: all entries will be judged for quality, uniqueness and price range in order to qualify to sell at the market. The sooner your application is submitted, the better chance for acceptance. Although applicants may choose the dates they wish to participate, the First Friday on Fourth Committee reserves the right to refuse or change the dates.

First Fridays on Fourth is a celebration of our locality. We only accept local vendors and producers. We will not accept corporate franchises, participants in multi-level marketing companies, or organizations we prudentially determine to be bad for our city.

This year, we ask a $10.00 donation per event to help cover the costs of such a fun community festival! This will be collected at the start of each event - donations can be made with cash, card, or check.

Vendor Regulation Checklist - Please check the following to acknowledge understanding of the guidelines: *

Stated fee is for a 12’x 12’ space. This year, we will be charging per space that your booth takes up. Spaces are limited and you MUST let the organizers know whether or not you will attend so that your space is guaranteed.

Vendor set up for each event begins at 4PM, with event start at 6PM. Setup can begin no sooner than 2 hours before opening. Participants arriving less than 30 minutes before opening may be turned away without a refund.

Market participants are responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs, tents, displays and materials.

It’s mandatory for all Participants to unload, remove vehicle/trailer from site and then set up. Setting up displays while unloading slows down traffic in the unloading area and causes unnecessary congestion.

Due to limited space and the layout of the event, vehicles are not permitted to remain attached to vending trailers. There are several free parking lots nearby to park transport vehicles during the event.

Make sure you have enough products to sell throughout the event as well as change.

Electric is NEVER guaranteed. Please note your needs on the form below. Quiet generators are permitted.

Since it is an evening event, vendors are asked to bring battery-operated lighting, as street lights will not be sufficient to light your booth.

Sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

Food vendors are required to carry and display an Ohio Food License or carry pre-packaged foods that fall under Ohio Cottage Food Law. Food vendors may be subject to inspections by the Jefferson County Health Department.

Be prepared for a variety of weather (bring weights for tents!) and to stay until closing. No early tear down on any day of the event is acceptable unless authorized by the Market Committee. Each event runs until 10PM.

A booth number will be assigned the week of the event and sent out along with a vendor map.

All participants are responsible for ensuring their booth, equipment, and displays, are presented and stored in a manner safe for all patrons to avoid risk of injury or accidents. Your displays, merchandise and other items must stay within the margins of the booth space.

All participants are expected to present themselves and their booths with a clean, attractive and favorable appearance.

Each participant is responsible for removing any trash/debris in and around your booth area throughout the event. Please bring your own trash containers/bags.

Participants must set up their booths in a manner that can withstand winds, rain and other problem weather and must be prepared to stay unless notified by the Market Committee.

Each vendor is responsible for personal bookkeeping, sales tax collections and payments.

Fire Extinguishers are required if you have any form of cooking device in your booth.

Participants shall conduct themselves in a manner that is courteous to other participants, event staff, event volunteers and public. Behavior which is criminal, threatening, abusive or harassing shall cause the vendor to be expelled immediately from the event.
