Burbank PTA Board & Committee Lead Interest Form
The Burbank PTA runs 100% on an volunteer engine to support our teachers, students and community.  The saying "it takes a village" has never been more true when it comes to the work that the PTA does, so as we look forward to the next school year (2024-2025), we are looking for new parents to take on specific roles and responsibilities to support our PTA initiatives at Burbank.  When we can get more individuals from our community involved, magical things happen and the time and effort commitments don't fall on just a small group of people looking to keep the spirit of Burbank and our PTA strong.

For additional role descriptions and estimated time commitment for each position, please visit https://www.belmont.k12.ma.us/bps/burbank/PTA/About-Us/Board-and-Committees.  If you would like to learn more about a role before making a decision to raise your hand, please feel free to contact the PTA at maryleeburbankpta@gmail.com and we'd be happy to discuss further.

While there are priority roles that need to be filled for 2024-2025, especially Board positions in order for us to remain in good standing with the Massachusetts and National PTA, there are numerous Committee roles that focus on a very specific remit.

Priority PTA Board Roles for 2024-2025 (2 year term):
  • Co-President
  • Enrichments
  • Grants
  • Extracurriculars
  • Event Co-Chair
Priority PTA Committee Roles for 2024-2025 (1 year term):
  • Fundraising
  • Spirit Wear
  • Garden Co-Lead
