Notes to oral defense:
1. Please prepare your final version of thesis to your advisor and committee members ONE week prior to your oral defense.
2. A committee of 3-5 members (including advisor), no limitation on number of NTU or non-NTU members.
3. Members of the committee should contribute to the topic, creativity, presentation, or technical aspects of thesis, and have at least one of the following traits:
- Current or past (assistant) professor
- Current or past (assistant) researcher of the Academia Sinica of Taiwan
- A Ph.D., accomplished in the thesis related field
- An accomplished expert of the thesis related field (Committee members are usually confirmed by your advisor)
4. A committee member cannot be your family member.
5. Other preparation arrangements are at the discretion of thesis advisor.
6. After the oral defense, please submit all the signed documents to GMBA office.
7. Amend your thesis according to the comments of your oral defense committee.
8. Prepare the soft copy and hard copy of your thesis according to NTU library's requirement.
9. When the soft copy is approved by library, please print out at least 3 hard copies, 2 for NTU library and 1 to the GMBA office. Please note that the cover page should be burgundy or dark red in color. (Details please read the Thesis Guideline)
10. Follow the graduation steps according to "Steps for Application to Leave School" (
https://my.ntu.edu.tw/StudLeave/LoginEnglish.aspx) at myNTU. For GMBA Department requirement, please submit a hardcopy and a softcopy of your thesis to GMBA office.
