FAU Center for Learning and Student Success Fall 2022 Owl-to-Owl (OtO) Volunteer Tutoring Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a tutor for the Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS). In this role, you will help FAU students achieve success in some of the university's most challenging courses, develop your own skillset to further prepare you for your career or graduate school, and become part of a diverse community of wonderful individuals.

We know you are excited to complete this application, but please read through it carefully and make sure you are responding correctly. Applying for an OtO tutoring position, I understand that I am applying for a position in the Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) where we support all subject areas EXCEPT MATH AND WRITING. *

By completing the following application, I acknowledge that I have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. I anticipate keeping above this threshold after the completion of this semester. *
I acknowledge that as an OtO tutor, I will attend any/all assigned trainings, complete evaluations, and work with professional staff/Graduate Assistants over the course of the semester. I agree to a semester long commitment and to uphold my scheduled tutoring hours (minimum of 2 per week). I have read the requirements on the website regarding OtO responsibilities. FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS AND INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS ONLY:  By completing this application, I understand that I must submit my unofficial undergraduate transcripts for courses not taken at Florida Atlantic University to the Center for Learning and Student Success.  Additionally, if my undergraduate courses were completed outside of the US, I understand that I will need to submit the officially evaluated copy to show the US equivalent courses and grades.
