Checkmate project is about bringing together a community of artists and humans of all experiences and levels of life to create something beautiful to share with the community through film.
The short film is about a girl who has landing on a chess board of life and has to navigate her way through and claim her rightful place on the throne of her own life.

The hope is to inspire and connect with humans who need it the most right now. We are currently learning ASL to do to our part in truly bridging the gap on communication within our community.

*Help us acquire the proper licensing and permits we need to complete the project
*Enter the project into film festivals in 2021 to showcase the importance of art in mental health
