What: Shoot a round of Sporting Clays; 100 shells over 13-15 'stations', using a golf cart to drive to each location. A standard round will take 2.5 to 4 hours to complete.

When: Saturday June 18, 2022

Where: Backwoods Quail Club; 647 Hemingway, Georgetown, SC

Time: Arrive no later than 0930 for a safety briefing, course orientation and sign in; plan to start the round at 1000

What to bring: Eye and ear protection (if you have them; if not, we can provide); a shotgun (20 ga or 12 ga is best, with choke/s); appropriate dress for shooting shotguns and being outside in the woods (no flip flops or open toe shoes).

Cost: A round of clays will cost $50, and you will need four (4) boxes of shells for your gun - figure $12/box for now - (guns can be rented at the Club for $15 and they sell shotgun shells there). Figure that this will be less than $100/person as a rough cost.

Food and Drink: No alcohol on the course; they will have water stationed throughout the course; we can use the outdoor (covered) area for a BBQ or brown bag lunch. There are also a few places to eat in Andrews, but nothing with rapid service. Lunch will be on you unless we (MOCC) opt to do something different.
