CRANIAL Local Lead Application
CRANIAL (CSF Rhinorrhoea After Endonasal Intervention to the Anterior Skull Base) is an international (UK & Ireland) prospective study led by the Neurology and Neurosurgery Interest Group (NANSIG).

We invite you to make an application for being a local lead. Medical students, junior doctors and neurosurgical trainees from recruited centres (see below) are eligible to apply. Please see the poster below for an overview of the study.

Why apply?:
1. Collaborator status* on the project publication(s), with an opportunity to apply for full authorship.
2. Contribution to a collaborative, international service evaluation, which will be evidenced by certificates.
3. Opportunity to present the local service evaluation findings at local audit meetings/equivalent.
4. Facilitates learning and mentorship amongst junior trainees/students who will receive close local senior neurosurgeon support during the project.

Soon after this, we will inform successful candidates of their local team members and schedule a welcome call. We will provide guides and supporting materials for all steps (project registration, data collection, day-to-day support) to make the process as efficient and enjoyable as possible.

*Collaborators will be cited as a group name “NANSIG" (if student) or "BNTRC" (if trainee) with an expandable list of all collaborators available below the article authorship by-line. As with author names, the name of each collaborator serves as a search link in PubMed. Permission will be asked of all collaborators before citation in publications as part of our collaborator cohort.
