CVC is a not-for-profit volunteer organization that is dedicated to serving the San Francisco Asian American Community through community service, community organizing, and non-violent safety patrols. Your contributions would help us to continue to provide support to our community, which has been hugely impacted by the pandemic and rise in xenophobia.

Over the course of our volunteering, we have to pay for first aid kits, sling bags, lanyards, badges, informational print media and more.

We would also like to offer the community additional store reinforcements such as glass protection, glass replacement, heavier chains, and heavier locks.

For Asian residences we would like to provide door, window, and garage door fortifications.

CVC is partnering up with one of Chinatown’s most respected organizations, BeChinatown. BeChinatown’s mission to support Chinatown businesses by helping to redistribute money and other resources to small businesses in need, beautifying the area with decorations, educating the community with bilingual services, and advocating for the community, especially those who are monolingual, limited English speakers.

Your money would go directly to supporting the community such as printing costs for informational print media, pepper spray, heavy chains and locks, operational costs such as the website domain, etc.

Your money does not pay any administration fees of kind to CVC.  CVC does not have any paid staff. All members of leadership, staff and volunteers are NOT paid, nor receive any stipends of any kind.
