Cheer and Dance Tryouts 2022 - 2023

Everyone trying out for Cheer and /or Dance must register using this form.

You will indicate on this form if you are trying out for Cheer, Dance or both.
**  You are permitted to be part of both teams at the same time as long as you are accepted to both.  

                       IMPORTANT!!    PHYSICAL AND PRACTICE CARD REQUIREMENT -  
              **  You will not be allowed to tryout without the following requirement met **

  *Current St. Pius X students, please see Coach Watson for your practice card.   Bring this with you to tryouts or give to Coach Brandee or Terri before the end of school.

  * New to St. Pius X students, you must have a current physical turned into the main office prior to tryouts.
Physicals must be on the proper MSHSAA form

When:               Friday June 3, 2022

Where:              St. Pius X Ralph Boyer Gymnasium

Time:                 Arrive/check-in 4:00pm

Tryouts end:     7:30pm

Wear:                 Solid color T-Shirt ( NO SPORTS BRA ALLOWED TO BE WORN ALONE)
                          * Must have t-shirt on over sports bra

                          Track-like shorts ( NO SPANDEX SHORTS ALLOWED ALONE AS SHORTS)
                          * shorts must have built-in lining or spandex worn underneath

Bring:               Water bottle

Cheerleaders:  wear cheer shoes or tennis shoes
Dancers:           bring your dance / jazz shoes

Hair:                  needs to be worn in a high ponytail ( no bows)


1.  Please fill out this form to register for cheer and/or dance tryouts.  
        *You are not required to be able to perform all tumbling, jumps, leaps etc in order to tryout.    

2.  *Current St. Pius X students - bring your practice cards to tryouts.  
      *New St. Pius X students -  Turn in your physicals to the main office prior to June 3, 2022.  You will not be allowed to tryout without a current physical.   ( Physicals must be on the proper MSHSAA form).
