Law plays an important role in social transformation by having a direct impact on society. It has always been looked at as one of the important instruments that could bring about social change. Thus, social transformation is the modification in the way people work. As a result, social transformation entails changes in people's working habits. Changes in technology, demography, competitiveness, conflict, ideology, political life, economic policy, and legal principles are all variables that contribute to social transformation. We at Alliance University, School of Law, have always strived to achieve excellence in Legal Research, hence, organizing the 2nd International Conference on Law and Social Transformation – ICLS-2023 on September, 09 2023, and this would be an annual endeavor in the years to come.
