Hi there! If you have found yourself here, you might be planning to hold an event at Old Lou Coffee Coop. Thank you for thinking of us and wanting us to play a part in your event. Before we get started, we'd like to ask some questions of you, so we can determine if we are a good fit for your event and if we are both aligned on the same values. Once you fill out this form, Natalie, our events coordinator, will reach out to you via email.

This is our Events disclaimer. Please Read, Review, and Share with your group and everyone affiliated with your event. 
We maintain business as usual during events, which means loud noises, talking to customers, calling out orders, etc. We are happy to accommodate your needs during your event in any way we can and are happy to work with you in ways that do not disrupt our business. Customers are welcome to order and take up space in the shop regardless of whether they are in attendance of your event. if you need someone to move in order to set up for the event, please ask us and we will kindly ask them to move for you. If there is a problem or disruption during your event, please come to us first. we ask that you respect all of our customers and co-owners by checking yourself for any biases. Please act with intention while you enjoy our space. Any failure to meet our community guidelines will be followed by an accountability process of our choosing that fits the severity of the harm caused. We operate on a basis of anti-racism, anti-cisheterosexism, anti-classism and require that our patrons and guests do the same.

Can you provide a couple examples of how you / your event will abide by our values, as described in our events disclaimer? (Please touch on the following: antiracism, anti-cisheterosexism, anti-classism, anti-oppression).  *
Will you need to rearrange the space? If so, are you able and/or willing to rearrange the space yourself? Feel free to state your needs for your event and we will work it out with you. If more assistance is necessary, we will follow up over email.  *
Do you have a ballpark time for your event (Dates, days of the week, time of day, etc)? Specificity is our best friend :) *
We maintain business as usual during events. Are you prepared to hear loud machine noises (espresso machine, coffee grinder, blender) and customer interactions in the background of your event? Or Are you in need of more quiet, in which case we can close down the shop for a private event at price?  *
If your event is for a larger organization/group(s), can you describe the work that your organization/group(s) provides? Does the work of your organization align with our values? If your event is for an individual (such as a musician, please put N/A in the text)  *
What is the subject material/content of your event? Please describe the themes and messages you hope to portray through your event.  *
Does your event require special equipment and are you able to get that equipment yourself? Again, let us know your needs and we will see if and how we can make it possible. (We have a PA system that is available for use, please mention if you need to use it below!) *
Would you be interested in being included in a set list with other performers (whenever possible) or would you prefer to be the single act for the night? What is the duration of your event?
