APPLICATIONS CLOSE 23:59 MAY 22nd 2019
PLEASE NOTE: APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE BOOKING.
Every year we receive a large (and ever increasing) number of requests and enquiries from organisations wishing to have a presence at Trans Pride Brighton, with demand invariably exceeding supply.
In order to ensure that the limited space of our venue is used in a way that can best address the most pressing needs of the Trans Community, stall allocation will be prioritised according to need, in relation to organisations':
* Provision of statutory services to the local trans community
* Provision of services to regional and national trans communities
* Targeted outreach addressing issues of social isolation and marginalisation for trans individuals
* Provision of services to intersectional, marginalised trans people and communities
* Local, regional or national promotion, campaigning and advocacy on trans issues
* Research, cultivation and/or promotion of trans culture and heritage
* Demonstrable commitment to promoting trans rights and equality within your organisation.
(N.B. in this context, local refers to the locality of Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas, regional refers specifically to the South East or south coast of England, though regional representation from other areas may be considered)
After the closing date, the committee will consider all stall applications and will allocate pitches in accordance with the above criteria. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by 13th June 2019 and successful applicants will be emailed, inviting them to formally to secure their place by way of payment of the corresponding invoice.
LOCATION:
