McDonald’s and Goliath Gaming have partnered up to scout and develop the next up and coming FIFA stars. We are going to be recruiting 4 young and aspiring FIFA talent between the ages of 13 to 22, with 3 of the 4 academy spots being decided by having our contestants battle it out in a series of FIFA competitions held at selected McDonald’s stores across Johannesburg The 4th, bonus, academy spot will be awarded to whoever gets the most community votes!

Academy representatives will get to work closely with the GG team to hone their FIFA skills. Representatives will be given their own PS5, gaming screen & gaming equipment, and buffed up with their internet connection for the duration of their time in the McDonald’s x Goliath Gaming Youth Academy. They’ll receive FIFA coaching from the GG Pro FIFA team, have access to GG facilities, and will receive performance coaching from GG’s own performance coach. The Academy representatives will also be kitted out in our official Goliath Gaming x McDonald’s co-branded merch to make sure they’re looking fresh for their first foray into esports. Together with the McDonald’s family, our goal with the academy is to provide opportunities to empower & upskill young gamers who display passion and promise, showing them just what it takes to compete at the top level of FIFA in South Africa.

So if you’ve been dreaming about being the next FIFA star then sign right up! We’ll be taking online registrations as well as scouting out players from selected McDonald’s stores in July. The McDonald’s x Goliath Gaming Youth Academy Activations will run from 1st July 2023 to 12 August 2023
