For those interested in joining The Screwbelles ensemble! The Screwbelles mission is to nurture a safe, equitable and candid community that celebrates gutsy comedic performance.

Core Values

Safety
We prioritize creating an all encompassing safe environment that centers around the voices and experiences of people with multiple oppressed identities. This means creating policies, actions and reporting systems that ensure physical and psychological safety for our community and for ourselves.

Accountability
We prioritize continuous accountability and the willingness to be called-in from our community, performers and with our producers/managers. This means being transparent to ourselves and our community and fully vetting any entity that we associate with.

Creativity
We prioritize collaborating and learning as performers, producers/managers, and within our creative community. This means creating opportunities for all involved in our productions to unapologetically express their artistic vision.
