Our goal is to introduce a lot more ingredients and produce to this years festival and to offer a genuine opportunity for visitors to come and sample and buy delicious food and drink from the south and south west of the UK. To that effect we are delighted to be working with Dorset Food and Drink to offer their members special subsidised rates to particpate.

Christchurch Food Festival 2020 will be an extra special celebration as this year we coincide with the May Day bank holiday and 75th VE Day celebrations.

For the first time ever, the Festival will take place over 3 days to include the new bank holiday on Friday 8th May

For 3 days we take over Christchurch with a full road closure along the High Street, loaded with stalls brimming with local produce and delicious street food, all the way down to the picturesque riverside setting of Christchurch Quay.

This year we have even more food, drink and entertainment in store with demos showcasing the best local chefs alongside some of the biggest names in the UK (Rosemary Shrager is already confirmed), live sheep at the Sheep Show and a special entertainment stage dedicated to VE Day performances. The Red Devils Parachute Display Team* will also be dropping in to open the event on Friday morning!

There will be a dedicated marquee for Dorset Food and Drink members and each business will be given a 6 ft trestle table with an 8ft frontage. Costs for this are:

Primary Producer - production of own raw material (agriculture, farming, grazing, hunting and gathering, fishing)
£175 for 3 days or £65 per day
Secondary Producer - eg. processors, distributors and retailers
£250 for 3 days or £90 per day
(All price plus VAT)
