As a member of School Council, you will help discover new and exciting ways to contribute to the education of all students at Alta Vista Public School. Education is a partnership involving parents/guardians, students, teachers, principals, school boards, government and the community. Your involvement in School Council gives you the opportunity to strengthen that partnership and to be part of a dedicated team working to ensure high-quality education and an accountable education system for the children of Ontario.

To help you be as informed as possible for any voting item, we strongly encourage you to attend all monthly meetings. If you are unable to attend, you may cast your vote by proxy with written notice.
