OPEN FIELD RSVP & PERMISSION - 3/22/24
"Open Field" is an invitation for 5TH AND 6TH Grade Sloan Creek students to stay after school and participate in varied outdoor sports and activities. We hope your student will join us for some FUN and EXERCISE in this beautiful weather!
  • STUDENTS WILL MEET IN THE GATED GRASSY AREA AFTER SCHOOL FOR ATTENDANCE
  • EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE AN RSVP OR WILL BE SENT HOME THEIR USUAL WAY (LAST MINUTE PHONE CALLS HOME TO ASK PARENT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED)
  • STUDENTS MUST HAVE PROPER ATHLETIC CLOTHING, SHOES (NO CROCS OR SANDALS), AND A WATER BOTTLE
  • THE STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT APPLIES (cell phone policy, dress code, etc.)
  • STUDENTS WILL BE PICKED UP IN THE BACK CARLINE AT 4:45 PM
FAQ:

Can my child bring their own ball or equipment?

No. We have plenty of sports equipment to go around!

Can I come and play with the students?

Not at this time. As we host future 'Open Field' dates, we will evaluate the need and potential logistics of including parents with completed volunteer applications. However, at this time, this event is for students and staff only.

Can younger/older siblings come to Open Field?

Not at this time. The 'Open Field' invitation is for current 5th and 6th grade students only.

Can I call the school on Friday to let them know my child will stay for Open Field?

No. All RSVPs must be received by 5:00PM on Thursday, March 21.
