GEORGIA THEATRE CONFERENCE (GTC) is currently accepting
WORKSHOP applications for the 2024 convention. This year's event runs
October 16-19, 2023. This is an wonderful opportunity for exposure for the Artist and/or Organization, as the average GTC events hosts over 20 schools and organizations. Not all applicants will be selected, but we will keep all applications for future events and functions. Keep in mind: Even if your workshop is directed at a specific age or demographic, it could still be attended by middle school and high school students, accompanying chaperones, college applicants and students, educators, and/or industry professionals.
Workshops previously offered, but not limited to: acting, musical theatre acting, directing, stage-to-screen work, stage management, costume design, costume construction, arts administration, theatre safety, stage combat, creative dramatics, union boundaries, scenic design, lighting design/consultation, sound design/consultation, dance, audition preparation, etc. The Artist/Organization will be assigned a 45-minute to 1-hour and 20-minute window. We can provide one (1) table for flyers, handouts, or any display items for the organization. Application deadline: August 1.
