BIS 23B: anonymous mid-quarter section feedback
Thank you for taking the time to consider your experience in the course so far. Please be candid, specific, and constructive in your feedback. At this halfway point, we still have a chance to address any of your concerns or to do more of the things that really help your learning. This is an anonymous survey -- it will not be associated with your name in any way. Thanks for participating!  -The BIS 23B Teaching Team

What are you enjoying about this course?  What kinds of material do you feel like you're learning?
In this course we have a combination of instructor presentation, coding activities, breakout room problem-solving, Piazza discussion, and polls.  What's working for you, and what could be changed?  If you have any suggestions on how improvements could be carried out, please indicate those as well.
How is the pacing of course material?  What should we come back to and review more?
It is clear that a live oral presentation session will probably not work for this online version of BIS 23B. Do you have any suggestions for ways to do the final presentations? We are considering options such as blog-style write-ups, creating a small online "magazine" with one-page summaries of each project theme, 3-5 minute pre-recorded audio/video discussions of your work which can be uploaded to a video gallery that we can all browse.  But you each have a lot of fresh experience with a variety of classes, so we want your input on what you think would be fun and effective.
Feel free to share any other feedback you have that doesn’t fit into the categories above. Thanks.
