Homebirth can be a yapha (beautiful) and intimate experience. In an effort to provide the safest experience possible we must determine if you are a homebirth candidate. Please read the details below and then answer the proceeding questions.

In an intentional effort to help relief the Black Maternal Health crisis within Georgia and bring balance to inequitable access to Black Midwives, Blessed Queens Traditional birthing services are exclusive to Black/Brown Families within Augusta, GA and surrounding rural areas.

Our homebirth services include prenatal care. The prenatal schedule is the same as the Obstetrical model. The visits are monthly until 28 weeks. After which the visits are bi-weekly until 36 weeks - then the visits are weekly until birth. After 37 weeks the team is officially on-call for your homebirth experience.

Our current rate for homebirth services is $4,500- $5,000. This includes coverage for the birthing team, prenatals, the homebirth, birthing pool (optional) and several postpartum WellCheck visits. The homebirthing kit and supplies will be an additional ~$100.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that health insurance does not provide coverage for our services. Our homebirth services are cash pay investment. All fees are required to be paid in full by 37 weeks of pregnancy.
