Application Form - Geology Field Camp (Traditional and Virtual)
Each year, Wichita State geology field camp is offered in both a (1) traditional, in-person trip as well as a (2) virtual Minecraft format, depending on students' accessibility needs, travel, and health restrictions.

GEOL 640 (Field Geology) is a six credit hour (6SCH) capstone field experience in the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming and Montana. The camp is underwritten by the Woolsey Family Fund for Geology Field Camp, greatly reducing cost for all participating students.

We welcome applications from WSU and guest students from other colleges. Over the past 10 years, we have had students from 30+ school participate in our camp.

In this application form, you will select whether you intend to apply for the traditional in-person camp, the virtual Minecraft version, or if you are undecided. If you are ready to begin applying to the program, please complete online application below. This application will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Please read through hard copy of application questions before completing the online submission. Be prepared to finish and submit this application in one session.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
