Various Volunteer Roles Available!
Some include but not limited to are:
Group Volunteer/CIT: This person will be assigned to work in a group and directly with a staff and children for the day. They will follow staff direction and assist in a variety of activities such as playing field games, on the playground and sandbox, or in water play stations, making crafts/doing science experiments, reading stories, and modeling expected behaviors and ensuring safety.
Arts and Crafts Team: This person will help make models of craft projects for a group, help children make crafts, do science experiments, and organize arts and crafts materials needed for projects. These people also may be asked to come up with unique craft ideas that relate to the weekly themes.
Field Game Team: This person will help lead and run field games that staff help plan and design. You will be expected to play the games with the kids and help to set up/clean up equipment that is needed each day. You may also help staff in the sandbox or playground settings.
Music Assistant: This person will assist the staff music coordinator each morning to sing camp songs and get campers excited and ready for their day! This person will also help staff play music during camp wide events like the Talent Show and create a playlist for bus rides. This person does not have to have prior music experience but would be a bonus.
Water Play Stations Team: This person will assist staff in setting up and taking down the various water play options (water slide, slip and slide, water tables, and hose reels) and helping to run the stations during the camp day.
