The PlasmaPy Project is hosting an in-person beginner's workshop for PlasmaPy as part of the 2023 MagNetUS Meeting in Auburn, Alabama. The workshop will be held Thursday June 15th from 2-5pm.

The workshop will assume no prior knowledge in Python or PlasmaPy but more experienced users are welcome to attend. The hands-on workshop will cover the current PlasmaPy functionality and modules as well as how it can be used in research. The workshop will also cover some of the basics for contributing to an open-source software project.
