SDYS Youth Leadership Council Application Form
The SDYS Youth Leadership Council (YLC) brings together our SDYS musicians to connect and contribute to the future of the organization. 

YLC members plan, organize, and execute at least two projects (up to four projects) per year. These projects might include: 
  • A service project
  • A social event
  • A recruitment project/event
  • A alumni engagement project/event
*All projects are to be approved by SDYS staff mentors, include a timeline, and include at least four YLC members.

YLC Member Agreements
  • Be in good standing at SDYS
  • Be respectful to everyone at SDYS and KeyNote
  • Communicate clearly and often to all members, including advisors
  • All ideas are welcome
  • Commit to meetings and to the work of YLC
  • Help others feel included and accepted
  • Share any problems or concerns immediately with staff

  1. Current SDYS musician in good standing.
  2. Ages 14+ 
  3. Participants must have parent/guardian permission to join!
