Thank you for considering to volunteer at VBS this year!
We have many ways you can serve in this ministry! Here is a short description of what is expected of each role:
Tribe leader - An organized storyteller brings the Bible to life for groups of kids through interactive and engaging experiences, then helps kids apply the word of God to their own lives
Tribe helper - Perfect opportunity to learn how to teach if you haven't before, and be there for additional assistance to the tribe leader.
Shopkeeper - A creative and organized leader is in charge of managing materials and walking groups of kids through the process of various activities and crafts.
Kitchen - An organized individual is in charge of preparing materials and guiding kids through the process of preparing and serving a snack
Games - Energetic and organized individual is in charge of leading groups of kids in fun physical activities and discussions You don’t need to be an Olympian, you just need to be organized energetic, and fun loving.
Registration - An organized individual that is ready to greet all kids/families and help with the registration process on the first 2 days of VBS
Acting / Drama Skits - Energetic individuals who are ready to set the scene and help act out various lesson points that we have daily!
A.V. / Tech - This behind the scenes leader is crucial to the production of VBS. This technician isn’t afraid of technology, meets cues, can run a variety of audio and visual technologies, and is flexible.
All volunteers are expected to arrive to church no later than 5pm everyday (unless otherwise discussed with VBS Director)
Date & Time for Volunteers are as followed:
June 24-28
5PM - 9PM DAILY
** Children are scheduled to arrive at 6pm and leave by 8:30pm **
