Have a child ages 3-5 who’d like to dabble in what Christian Day Camp is all about but a full day seems too long? We’ve got you!
Modeled after the Muscatine County Conservation Board’s Nature Camps, kids are invited to join us for one, two, or all three sessions. Kids will explore animals, fish, go on nature hikes, learn Bible stories and songs, and will have a glow stick party!
Kids who are ages 3-5 are eligible to attend. Note: A parent/trusted adult is required to attend with every child.
Older siblings may attend with their younger sibling and parent. Simply know that programming will be geared toward kids ages 3-5.
Camp Information
Preschool mini's will be on June 17, July 1, and July 15 from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Each night will be hosted at Discovery Park, 3300 Cedar Street, Muscatine. We'll begin at the shelter by the Discover Center building and will work our way around the area throughout the night. Kids are invited to join us for one, two, or all three sessions dependent on their schedule! Meal will be served at the beginning of our time together.
Registration and Cost:
Please fill out the following registration form to enroll your child. Priority deadline for registration is April 15.
If you have several children you'd like to register, fill out individual registration forms for each child.
Registration is $10/child. Registration cost is due at the time of registration and can be paid in two ways:
1) submit online (credit card or bank transfer) at shepherdofthecross.org/christian-day-camp
2) mail to Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran, 3300 N Highway 38 Muscatine IA 52761 (checks written out to "Shepherd of the Cross" with "Preschool Christian Day Camp" and your child's name in the memo line).

We are blessed by support from individuals, congregations, and organizations that keep camp low-cost to families. In all sessions of camp, our goal is to offer an affordable opportunity for kids to connect with God, with one another and with nature.
If you would like to continue making this a possibility, and are able to contribute more than the registration fee for your child, consider giving online (shepherdofthecross.org/christian-day-camp) and select "Christian Day Camp Donation" from the drop down menu or send your donation to Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran Church (3300 N Highway 38, Muscatine IA 52761) with "Christian Day Camp Donation" in the memo line.
