Brock House: Esther Birney Literary Series
The Public Humanities Hub and the Brock House Society are exploring a new partnership. We are kicking things off by identifying literary scholars who can give public talks (socially-distanced or via Zoom) to Brock House members as part of their Esther Birney Literary Series. The series focuses on the literary arts broadly imagined (texts, film, drama, etc.). Brock House is an active senior group with myriad interests. Learn more about the Brock House Society here: https://www.brockhousesociety.com/

This is an excellent opportunity for humanities scholars to share their research with a community that faces increasing levels of isolation. We particularly encourage graduate student proposals!

The series will begin in January 2021 and can host up to 3 speakers per month. We will send proposals to Brock House and work with them to select speakers for the Esther Birney Series.

Note: we are in the process of writing a grant to help cover honoraria and will be in touch with particulars when we know more.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate.
