Open House Vilnius (OHV) festival is an open architecture weekend, organised in Vilnius since 2015. The 10th Open House Vilnius festival will take place in our dearly beloved city on May 18–19, 2024. Thus, we are looking for enthusiastic people who would like to join the event as volunteers & help to celebrate the grand jubilee of the festival :)

The festival of open buildings has become a valuable architectural event that gives people access to the city’s hidden architectural gems. Only Open House Vilnius provides you with free entry to dozens of usually inaccessible or partially accessible buildings and spaces. The tours in the selected buildings are held on a predecided schedule and are led by the volunteer guides, the staff of the building, or even by the architects of certain buildings. Nevertheless, most of the buildings have tours held only in Lithuanian, for a third year in a row, we keep extending the list of buildings offering tours in foreign languages (English & Ukrainian). The rollout plan for this year is a whooping number of 10 buildings!

Still and all, Open House Vilnius festival would never be able to happen if it weren’t for hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time and help us open the city for citizens, temporary residents & tourists.

Be part of one of the event’s most important teams and:

🔵 Become a tour guide (i.e. lead tours of a specific building in English and/or Ukrainian) on 18-19 May;

🔵 Visit buildings and places, which are partially or fully closed to the public;

🔵 Learn more about Vilnius & spread the word about this beloved city to curious tourists/temporary residents/ citizens speaking Ukrainian and/or English 

🔵 Develop your public speaking and communication skills, broaden your architectural and historical knowledge;

🔵 Meet like-minded people, make new friendships & most importantly - have fun!
