Parents/Guardians of rising 9th grade students we would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we will be hosting our 2022 9th Grade Orientation on August 23rd from 8:30AM-2:30PM. This exciting day is designed to provide students with unique and engaging opportunities to become familiar with their high school and to build the organizational, social, and personal skills needed for success at the high school level. In addition to participating in many activities, students will meet faculty members and learn about being a high school student.

Please note, the orientation program is only for students who will be rising 9th graders during the 2022-2023 school year and will be held at your child’s assigned high school.
 
Transportation Provided: Transportation will be provided for all students who have completed the annul transportation forms by Thursday, July 28th.

Food Provided: Breakfast and lunch will provided to all students. Packed lunches from home are also welcomed.  

Please note the following, USDA granted waivers for the 2021-2022 school year which allowed all meals for students to be free of charge. At this time, USDA has not extended waivers into the 2022-2023 school year which will result in students paying for meals based on meal eligibility status. Families who are eligible can continue to receive free or reduced cost meals based on a qualified meal application in the upcoming school year. We highly encourage families, if they haven’t done so already this school year,  to complete a meal application before June 9. Eligible families will utilize meal status based on 2021-2022 meal applications for the first 30 days of the new school year. Families will need to complete a new application for the 2022-2023 school year starting in August to be eligible for lower cost meals for the remainder of the 22-23 school year beyond the first 30 days.  Meal applications are available online on the Child Nutrition website and at your student’s school.
