Volunteer Opportunity at Guest House
Guest House of Milwaukee, located on North 13th Street between Juneau and McKinley Avenues in the King Park neighborhood, is the largest publicly funded homeless shelter in the city and has been leading our community in ending the cycle of poverty in their clients' lives for nearly forty years. Guest House of Milwaukee provides shelter, housing, education, and services to Milwaukee's homeless who seek to transform their lives with dignity and purpose.

Nestled in the heart of the King Park neighborhood, which is officially classified as a food desert. Guest House provides fresh, home-grown produce to Guest House, our neighbors, and the Friedens Community Ministries network of food pantries. Cream City Gardens touts 56 raised garden beds and a half-acre of in-ground planting rows. We are looking for up to 15-20 Coffee Geeks to join Factory team members, Austin and Violet, in Gardening at Guest House on Thursday, May 16th, from 1pm-3pm.

Once we get our team together, further communication will go out regarding the details.

P.S. This would qualify for paid Volunteer Time!
