CMS Volunteer Form

Volunteers are vital to the mission of HCPS. We are grateful for all who devote their time and talents to our school division and students! To volunteer at CMS, you MUST do the following each year:

*When you arrive at school, always report to the office and sign-in on the computer to receive a name badge which identifies you as a volunteer. Remember to sign out on the computer before leaving.

Please indicate any activities in which you are interested. *

Baking/Donations: baked goods (cookies, brownies cupcakes, etc), candy, etc for staff functions

Book Fairs: assist librarians during fall and/or spring book fair with set up, book sales, and clean up

Chaperones: field trips and/or school events

Copy Helpers: weekly/monthly schedule

Fundraiser: help with sorting/delivering items to students

School Beautification: lend your expertise and hard work to beautify the school grounds

Library Helper: shelve books, light dusting, BoxTops coordinator

Reading Olympians: coach/helper

Reflections: assist with collection of Reflections entries and with the awards ceremony

Office Helpers: Parents are asked to contribute to one hour shifts per week in the front office. Volunteers will greet visitors, sign in and check out students, and other various office support. Help is needed for 8:45 - 9:45 am, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, 1:30 - 2:30 pm, and 2:45 - 3:45 pm shifts.

On Call Volunteers: we are looking for parents willing to consider helping as special events and projects arise during the school year. You will receive an email from the PTA when opportunities for help are needed.
