What is a Best Practice?
A Best Practice (BP) is an action, task or initiative that has proven to be valuable, sustainable and exploitable. In other words, BPs are techniques or methods that through research, experience and practice have been proven to be more reliably and lead to a more desired results than those achieved by other means. BP may be induced by new technical or technological solutions as well as by implementation & management practices or behavioural change. In MEDWAYCAP project, we aim to consolidate the knowledge  on non- conventional water (NCW) management in the Mediterranean region by identifying and disseminating BPs and innovative solutions. In this context, a NCW BPs inventory is developed to collect information on implemented BPs in various context.
