Our study aims to explore teachers’ perceptions and motivations of using indoor rock climbing as a learning outside the classroom activity with students attending alternative provision schools across England. We want to talk to teachers who regularly use indoor rock climbing as part of their curriculum to understand the rationale behind its use, and to establish what barriers they may face when engaging in these activities. The purpose of this is to establish whether indoor rock climbing has any impact on the health and wellbeing of children and young people.
To be eligible to take part in this study you must:
•
Be a current teacher who works in an alternative provision/SEMH school in England
•
Use indoor climbing regularly as part of your curriculum
