Physical Distancing Survey for Families
The District is exploring options for more students to be in person in school by moving towards a closer level of physical distancing between students.

Please complete this survey to help us understand how physical distancing may play a factor in your decision to send your child to school. The question asks your comfort level with and without pool testing.

Pool testing works by monitoring a majority of students and faculty/staff who have consented to weekly testing for COVID-19. A group of ten samples is combined or "pooled" together allowing one PCR test to be run on the group. If the result is negative, the group continues teaching and learning. If the result is positive, individuals in the group are retested using a 15 minute, rapid antigen test to identify the individual(s) who is/are positive. The individual is isolated and close contacts are identified for quarantine protocols.

FPS is beginning the DESE pool testing pilot after February vacation.  More information will be forthcoming but we are interested in knowing your current perspectives. Please complete a separate survey for each child.
