PARTY's (Peninsula Area Reform Temple Youth), mission is to bring Jewish teens together following B'nai Mitzvah. Through social events and bonding experiences, PARTY meets the needs of their peers and plans a successful year of fun for teens.
The PARTY Fellowship has up to six participants, and is considered a combination of experiential learning and leadership experience. As a PARTY fellow, you can expect to attend 1-hour meetings twice per month, as well as one PARTY event per month. The meeting times are set at the start of the year by the participants. The meetings are used to plan and collaborate on events, as well as advertise them to other PTS members aged 14-18 (or Bay Area Jewish teens). Meetings can be in-person or virtual, depending on availability.
In addition, serving with PARTY gives teens the eligibility for the PARTY Fellows Scholarship. The scholarship application will open in January 2024 and will be awarded at the conclusion of the school year in May 2024. A recipient will be chosen based on enthusiasm for PARTY and commitment to building Jewish community.
