Mass Reflection

You may want a journal to take with you to Mass to jot down any notes or inspirations that you may have from the readings, homily, songs, or prayers. You can use a small notebook that can fit in your pocket or purse.

After Mass, you may want to spend some time (even a few minutes, if that is all you have) writing more details about the notes you jotted down. This way, when you look over your notes in the future, you won’t wonder what you were thinking at the time you wrote them down. It may be helpful to use a larger notebook to write out these longer reflections and use the small notebook at Mass for writing brief notes to jog your memory later.
