Core Content Course Selection
All students will choose courses for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. All choices are requests and not guaranteed placements.

*Any Advanced or GT classes are subject to an Advanced Academics parent and student contract. Students in ELA Advanced or GT sections may have a summer reading requirement. PE Credit
All students must receive 2 PE credits in Middle School which means that many 8th graders are not required to take a PE course. If you want to take a PE course, please choose one of the following options.

Student Electives
Students will have 2 additional electives for next school year. Students will select 3 electives with which they are interested in taking. Students will rank their elective selections as 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice, and have an option of a "Prefer not to take" selection. All classes are subject to course availability. (**Some electives are pending sponsor approval)

Students requiring an ALP (Accelerated Learning Plan) as part of HB 4545 may be placed into an acceleration course which will replace one of the student's elective choices. This will not be an optional selection as the required House Bill 4545 minutes are part of the new state law.
Students should select one elective for each of their three choices. No more than one selection per column will be allowed. Students will only make four selections.
