We have a large and exciting garden at South, in an area beyond the bike stands. Students are welcome to work in our garden after school every Monday from 3.00 - 3:45pm. The students are encouraged to participate in all the different activities necessary in a garden, from seed growing to transplanting seedlings, from weeding to harvesting. Their work is recorded and counts towards the Silver or Gold Aim High Awards.

We are very grateful for the on-going support, advice and donations we get from our community, in particular Oderings, Parkhouse Landscape Supplies, TreEvolution Ltd, Trees for Canterbury. Parents and friends who are interested in helping out are encouraged to make contact - their expertise and knowledge is appreciated.
