Art Beat NON-PROFIT Registration
Art Beat 2020 will take place August 15, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Local nonprofits are invited to attend, provided they have an artistic component to their booth, and that they are located in one of the following nearby counties: St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall and Starke counties in Indiana and Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan.

Registration: The deadline for submitting the registration form is May 1, 2020.

Fee: There is no fee for a nonprofit to participate in Art Beat. Additional fees of $10 each are required for  scene  request, extra booth spaces, and $20 for electricity.

Payment for these items needs to be received prior to June 20. Checks should be made payable to Downtown South Bend and sent to:

Description of artistic activity *
Each nonprofit participating in Art Beat is required to have an artistic component. You can have a craft for kids, sell arts/crafts to raise funds for your organization, do a demonstration, etc. Please briefly describe (500 characters or less) the way that you plan to incorporate art into your booth.
How many booth spaces do you need? *
Each space is 10'x10'. Space is limited. Additional booth space awarded at event organizer's discretion. There is a $10 charge for each extra space.
Will you be sharing your booth with another nonprofit?
If yes, please be sure to indicate the name (as it should appear in print) of the other nonprofit. This information will be used on event collateral. Only one organization per booth needs to register.
The South Bend Museum of Art is excited to bring back KID BEAT! to Art Beat 2020 for its fourth year.   KID BEAT! is an area of Art Beat dedicated to art, activities, and organizations that cater to our young visitors. It will include activities such as: **Young artists selling their work **Mobile art stations **Free sidewalk chalk, painting, mixed media sculpture activities **Games **And much more!  You can participate in KID BEAT! if you are an organization who has programming to share with youth. We encourage participants to bring an activity, demonstration or item to share with guests to make their experience over the top!  Spaces are limited and are 10 x 10 unless a proposed activity requires a larger space. Participants will be selected based on their artwork and/or activity.
Nonprofits may choose to be placed in the Kid Beat! area of Art Beat, in the main area of Art Beat, or both.

Do you need electricity? *
Electricity is an additional $20 fee, and you will need to provide your own extension cords. Due to the limited availability of electricity at Art Beat, please only check the box if you truly need it.

Please briefly describe why you will be needing electricity at your booth. Due to the limited availability of electricity, we cannot guarantee that every request for electricity will be granted.
