Don't know how to use a rubric but want to learn? Frustrated with trying to develop effective rubrics? Just want to learn more about rubrics, when to use them, and how to develop them? Then please join us for this basic workshop on developing and using rubrics. Learn how rubrics can help you save time when grading, provide effective feedback for your students, and promote student learning.

The learning outcomes for this workshop are:

1. You will understand what a rubric is; why and when to use different types of rubrics; and how to develop a rubric.
2. You will be able to develop a rubric for an assignment in a course you are teaching
