The Allegheny County Sewer Authority (ALCOSAN) generously offered to fund up to 25 student memberships (valued at $25 per year) in the Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) Three Rivers Chapter for deserving college students with an interest in environmental work. SWEP Three Rivers’ mission is to provide women environmental professionals, working in the Pittsburgh area, a community that recognizes and supports women’s leadership and career development. Members will receive regular communications from SWEP Three Rivers, discounted admissions to events in the area, access to a membership directory, and access to various presentations from past events. Eligible students must be currently enrolled in a university academic program with interest in an environmental career. Current SWEP Three Rivers members may nominate a student by filling out this form.
