Join us for an exclusive Future for Nature Academy lecture with elephant expert Antoinette van de Water. With 17 years of experience in the field, Antoinette will talk about conserving and studying wild elephants in Thailand and Africa.
During this talk, you will learn about the value of elephants, and the various methods used to realise human-elephant coexistence. Learn more about BTEH’s Elephant Field Station in South Africa, and about the launch of their newest research project in 2022: Elephant Rewilding!
The lecture will include a practical session in which you will contribute to elephant research by identifying individual elephants! After the event, there are opportunities to stay involved and continue to make a difference for the future of our gentle giants.
