The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership has been selected as one of 30 programs across the nation to participate in Main Street America’s Equitable Entrepreneur Ecosystems in Rural Main Streets Pilot Program. As part of this comprehensive program to foster entrepreneurship and revitalize our Main Street, a series of informational sessions will be held on Wednesday, April 10th. These sessions serve as a crucial opportunities for stakeholders to gain firsthand insights into our commercial district's dynamics, business activity, and real estate trends, all within the framework of equitable economic development.
Join us for an in-depth exploration into the intricacies of developing an equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem tailored specifically to our Downtown Kennewick commercial district revitalization efforts. During this session, we will delve into the essential components and best practices necessary for cultivating a supportive environment for small businesses and entrepreneurs in our community.
Our focus will be on providing practical guidance and support to implement entrepreneur-focused economic development policies, programs, and practices. Through interactive discussions and collaborative activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing our local entrepreneurs.
Additionally, we will review key findings from recent small business surveys and community profile data to identify barriers hindering entrepreneurial growth and explore actionable strategies to address them. Together, we will lay the groundwork for building a more inclusive and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem that fosters innovation, creativity, and prosperity for all members of our community.
