Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande - Shelter Volunteer Form
Please fill out this form if you are interested in volunteering as an individual or as a group to support a shelter for asylum seekers in El Paso, Texas.  We are looking for help to as we plan, review, and evaluate our response,  as we provide hospitality to our community members seeking asylum.

We have been running a shelter since March 2022 that receives any overflow from Annunciation House.  We hope to use this form to develop a volunteer database and create schedules based on your availability, interest, and ability at this time.  We are looking for volunteers willing to be present at the shelter, as well as folks to help to prepare the space by cleaning, packing and moving items. There are also opportunities to help create and maintain volunteer schedule, coordinate logistics of the space, and fundraise to support our efforts. We also seek people or group to coordinate donation drives for backpacks and other needed items.

Thank you for your interest and support. Together we can welcome a community that has been criminalized by policies against those seeking asylum.  Learn more at the Rio Grande Borderland Ministries website,  https://riograndeborderland.org/
