Thank you for your interest in volunteering to be an onsite volunteer at the very first Los Angeles Catio Tour this October 14th 2023. As an on-site volunteer at this annual event, you will be a critical player in educating the visitors about the many benefits Catios offer to both Cats and native wildlife.

It will be a full day, beginning at Pasadena Humane at 9/9:30am and ending at roughly 4pm.

Please fill out the following questionnaire. It will give you a good understanding of the expectations we have for our volunteers and the commitment we are asking from you.

FOR DAY-OF VOLUNTEERS:

For those volunteering at a catio site on Saturday October 14, we need you to commit to the following requirements:

• Read through and familiarize yourself with some educational materials that will help you answer visitors questions on the Catio Tour.

• Attend 1 virtual training meeting prior to the event. TBA

• Have a valid driver license and be able to reliably get yourself to the event locations.

• Be available to arrive at Pasadena Humane (or other location TBA) at 9/9:30am to pick up any materials needed prior to getting to your Catio location by 10:30am.

• Remain at your assigned Catio location for the duration of the event 11am to 4pm. Possibly 5pm or later if assigned to the Gottlieb Native Garden location.
