This course is an introduction to the ShopBot CNC Router. It will provide a comprehensive overview of CNC Router safety and procedures as well as best practices for operation. This is a hybrid course consisting of a one hour online session followed by an in-person two hour session. It is designed for people with intermediate computer knowledge that are familiar with the basics of creating 2D files. Each student will be guided through the safe and proper usage of the tool before using it to complete a small project.

After the completion of the ShopBot CNC Router In-Person Orientation, members will have the ability to reserve time on the CNC Router after their file has been approved.

To attend this class you will be required to wear closed toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
