AEM 3385 Fall 2022 Application
Enrollment cap is 30 students; emphasis is placed on creating a diverse class with students from across disciplines and expected graduation dates.  First and second year students outside of AEM are encouraged to apply. For AEM students, priority will be given to second semester juniors who have already taken AEM 3000.

Why are you interested in understanding food justice and social entrepreneurship? Consider reflecting on previous coursework, experiences, or persona/academic/professional goals that inspire you to learn more.
This is a 3 credit course that includes both academic and practicum components. Together, they require a commitment of about 9 hours/week.  This includes about 2 hours of class time, 2 hours working in the grocery store, and 2-3 hours of committee work including weekly meetings, 2-4 hours of assignments (readings, writing papers, etc which decrease as your committee-based work increases). Are you able and willing to make this time commitment?
